This campus-based sales position is responsible for the recruitment and retention of qualified online and campus-based healthcare students through the demonstrated use of consultative needs based selling. This position is actively enrolling new students into our various Healthcare Certificate programs through the College’s Continuing Education Division (CE).

This position also assists in the day-to-day operations in support of the CE’s Healthcare training programs’ sales goals and objectives. Ensure accurate collection of sales data, along with student registration and retention. On-site inside sales responsibilities along with operational administrative efforts. Extensive telephone, face to face, email and computer work responsibilities. (Note: While preferred, this position does not require the candidate possess a background or experience in the healthcare field.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Focused Communication: Interview and enroll qualified students to meet individual class, monthly and annual goals, in person, via the telephone and email.
Customer Service Communication: Ensure students adhere to the rules and regulations of the course, retain enrollment throughout program, maintain communication with students and counsel them.
Administrative Functions: Collect payments and maintain payment agreements for new students. Design class rosters, maintain class log sheets and register new students. Maintain accurate notes in electronic data base. Maintain student electronic records and hard copy files. Prepare instructional payroll contracts.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree or higher required
  • Minimum 3 years’ sales and/or customer service experience required
  • Minimum 3 years’ previous administrative experience required
  • Telephone and networking experience
  • Supervisory and/or management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type 40+ wpm
  • Ability to work independently and oversee a busy office environment
  • Excellent communication, customer service, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Critical thinker
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load
  • Ability to interact well with students, staff, and faculty

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
